Vinyl Decal Application
1. Thoroughly Clean the Window or Surface with a damp rag and alcohol to remove the dirt, wax, and grime. Let the surface dry. (Important Note: Decals will NOT adhere if there is wax on the surface! Make sure to remove the wax before placing the decal.)
2. Without removing the backing, place the decal in the area you want to adhere it to.
3. Once you find the exact location for your decal, place a section of masking tape along the top edge of the decal to hold it in place. (The decal should be viewed through the transfer tape exactly how you want it to look)
4. The decal will be positioned on the window like a flap, with the bottom able to move away from the window.
5. Now, gently remove the backing while lifting the decal, making sure to keep the decal from touching the window. Make sure that the masking tape does not move so that you don't lose your decal positioning.
6. Use a Credit card or squeege to rub the decal firmly against the glass on the transfer tape. Rub, hard so that the decal get's good adhesion to the surface. (***MAKE SURE TO DO THIS STEP BEFORE YOU PULL THE TRANSFER TAPE FROM THE DECAL SO YOU DON'T DAMAGE YOUR DECAL!***)
7. The last step is to peel the transfer tape from the window. The transfer tape will lift, leaving the decal behind. Do this step very slowly! If at any time the decal begins to lift with the transfer tape, gently place that section back onto the surface and rub again with the credit card or squeege and try again.
8. If there are any air bubbles when you are done, you can put a pinhole in the vinyl to remove the air. Do not try to rub them out to the edge or you will stretch the decal. You won't see the small pinhole when the air is worked out.
Camo Patches, Wraps, and Kits Application
1. Thoroughly Clean the Surface with a damp rag and alcohol to remove the dirt, wax, and grime. Let the surface dry. (Important Note: Decals will NOT adhere if there is wax on the surface! Make sure to remove the wax before placing the decal.)
2. Place the decal in the desired location and apply masking tape over the edge of the decal and onto the surface you are placing it on to ensure that it is aligned properly.
3. Lift the section along the edge allowing the decal to hinge on the flap and remove the backing while continuing to hold it in the air.
4. Use a Credit card or squeege to rub the camo firmly against the surface starting along the hinged edge. Rub, hard so that the camo get's good adhesion to the surface.
5. If there are any air bubbles when you are done, you can put a pinhole in the vinyl to remove the air. Do not try to rub them out to the edge or you will stretch the decal. You won't see the small pinhole when the air is worked out.
